Sorting in Slovak and Czech Alphabet
Description

A simple utility to properly sort the data by SK and CZ alphabet.

It is frustrating, as the data entered and stored in the localized language, are not sorted correctly under that specific conventions that the country.
Not everything can be sorted only by the rules of the English alphabet...

With data sorting Slovak and Czech alphabet have problems different database servers and data applications.

JavaScript sorting strings
by Slovak and Czech alphabet (including symbols dz, dž and ch).
Properties
  • properly sort the data by SK and CZ alphabet
  • the ability to define different character sequence specifications
  • 100,000 records sorting rate test (Example no. 2)
  • the possibility of using different settings (including special characters, case sensitive, defining a continuous field of sorting characters)
  • custom order of character sequence

Installation

Procedure

Example no. 1 is a simple example of sorting different letters.

Example no. 2 allows you to sort (ascending/descending) the list of films, ASCII character list, or 100,000 records, followed by sorting speed.

Example no. 3 allows you to sort the list of persons in the table by clicking on the header of a particular item. Sorting records is used together with jQuery library.


In files alphabets.js and sort_data.js is JavaScript sorting algorithm. This algorithm can be used in applications dealing with sorting of texts in different national languages.

The algorithm can be converted
into different programming languages.
