From early on in my life and like any student I guess, I have always been technically inclined. Along with the continual advancements in the field of information technology, this also has fueled my fascination and interest in computers and programming. While studying at the Faculty for Civil Engineering at the Technical University in Kosice, my studies were complemented by the use of my 8bits ATARI computer.
After my studies at University, I was able to enhance my programming skills, by studying Systemic Programming Language C, at the Department of Information and Production Systems in Kosice. During my military service, I continued with my interest in programming. At times this proved to be advantageous for me while in the military. It was at this time that I replaced my 8bits computer for a fantasy executive PC-Combination, a PC 386 DX/40Mhz and my severe addiction to computer graphics began. I used my knowledge to further my career in a private computer company that specialised in the sale of computing systems, the installation of multi-computer systems, the sale of software products and the creation of data base applications.
For a number of years I worked in Hutny projekt. Which involved managing a computer network, also a computer technician and programmer. I started to get involved in software products like AutoCAD, 3D Studio and object oriented programming languages like Pascal and C++.
Since 1997, I have worked in the graphic department of the newspaper LUC a graphic designer, where I learnt to work professionally with graphic applications like QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, Corel etcetera. In the past couple of years I have moved my area of focus to that of web design and programming for the Internet market.
Two years I was working in joint-stock companies Ferona Slovakia look like analyst-programmer and manager intranet's and internet's applications - DHTML, ASP, PHP, MySQL, SQL Server, ...
Five years I was working in US Steel Kosice, s.r.o. - developer
But my work has not distracted me in any way from my hobbies, which includes sport, science fiction, cosmology, cryptology and obviously graphic design. I also enjoy watching documentaries, especially in the field of science and technology.

Beata Mesarosova (rod. Cekanova)
My name is Bea and I am somewhat older than 18.
Measurements 95-80-90. Yes. These are my measurements, but only in my dreams. In reality it is ... a little bit jollier. My hobbies are, besides dreaming, literature, crosswords, naturally my family and especially the upbringing of my two men. I have two wooden spoons, to help me raise these men in my life. The bigger of the two spoons is obviously for my husband. I love animals, and enjoy nature, but this pleasure is somewhat handicapped by my inability to move around freely. I like playing with the computer (that's if I have some remote possibility of sitting in front of it, considering my husbands passion for the computer). I can work on programs like Word and Excel, but would love to learn to work in programs like QuarkXPress and Photoshop. My goal and hope is that I would be better than my husband :)

My name is Erik or Ejko, also known as cackler. My mom sometimes calls me "Monkey" because I ape around a lot. I have been on this planet for 6 years now and I cannot read or write yet, but I can pound away quite nicely on my dad's computer keyboard. When I do this, my dad just closes his eyes but says that like him, I too will be a computer maniac one day. I love playing with cubes, but I also love to sing and dance. Frolicking is my favourite past time. I would love to do this in the kindergarten, so children please; I look forward to having fun with you!

I think that every person who has a passion for computers will remember with nostalgia, the era of the 8bits computer.
I also remember with fondness the ATARI 800 XL computer. It had 256 colours and a 64
Kbytes
buffer memory. However by today's standards, not even 64
Mbytes
of buffer memory is sufficient. It was during this time period that the commands "PEEK" and "POKE" were like magic and one could create the most fantastic macros with them.
Today personal computers and Macintoshes are by far more efficient. I really cannot think of another field where technology advances more rapidly. I have had a number of computers up to now, from 80, 286, 386 to a 486 with Intel processor and AMD. Presently I own
a AMD Athlon XP 2500+ computer, with 1 Gbytes RAM
and a variety of supporting peripheries. I am acutely aware that more advanced computers exist as opposed to mine, but knowledge is power. The most important thing is how one applies this knowledge to advance one's expertise in his or her field.
So on that note, lets get to work!
